Grocery Manufacturers Association to Become the Consumer Brands Association
Sep 30, 2019
The Grocery Manufacturers Association (GMA) recently announced it will change its name and become the Consumer Brands Association (CBA). The organization was founded in 1908 and is planning a major renaming and rebranding effort.
In describing the motivation behind the rebranding effort, a press release issued by GMA says the change, which will go into effect January 2020, "represents the broader interests of a modern CPG company."
